Learn more about this land: At about 8500' elevation on the flanks of the Sangre de Cristo mountains, you can explore local NM history and the outdoor beauty of Northern NM from this campsite. Drive east on dirt roads up the mountain and camp in the shade of pinon and juniper. The campsite has a fire pit, outdoor kitchen, and an outhouse. Wonderful mountain top oasis

I loved this little spot. Plenty of room to setup a tent (though I car camped), the bathroom was a nicely decorated composting toilet, and the little outdoor area for cooking with your own camping stove has a little table for chopping items or making morning coffee. The morning view was spectacular!!

Campsite was just as advertised in excellent condition. Stephanie accepted my same day request within an hour helping me be sure i had somewhere to crash for the night. Would definitely camp here again.
